~*~::{Reading Blog #23: To Kill A Mockingbird}::~*~

So, Marley and Me hasn't come in from the library yet, so I can't really do my blog on it now, can I?  No.  I've decided I'll do a ramble on To Kill A Mockingbird from last year.

So...this book.  I honestly liked it.  One of the only books from school I've actually enjoyed reading...the only thing I didn't think was good about it was the first half...the first half was kinda pointless, I thought, and didn't really tell enough of the story...well, enough that mattered anyway.  I really like the way that Scout personalized everything and translated it into what a young girl would think, whether it be the not wanting to act all girly or hearing rumors about Boo Radley, or whether it be her meeting and befriending him.  The book was very well written and would read it again in a heartbeat.
